The UK Business Angels Association has shortlisted Newable's UK Space Tech Angels programme at its annual awards.

The UK Space Tech Angels has been shortlisted for the Best New Entrant to the Angel Ecosystem category at the UK Angel Investment Awards 2017. The UK Business Angels Association received a record number of entries this year and had excellent feedback from the judges, who commented on the exceptionally high standard of nominations.

The category is open to any new organisation – including networks, groups, new funds and funding models, as well as new services or products – that can be shown to add clear value to the angel and early-stage investment market.

The UK Space Tech Angels aims to develop the space sector ecosystem. It created complements and is supported by the Seraphim Space Fund. Seraphim launched at the end of 2016 and Newable is a founding investor.

The next company presentation event – where entrepreneurs present their business case to potential investors – takes place on Wednesday 5th July at The Future Cities Catapult (1 Sekforde St, Clerkenwell, London EC1R 0BE). The presentation will start at 4pm (with registration opens from 3.45pm to 4pm) and will finish at 8pm.
