Seven Super Workspaces in London for Under £100 per month

As we continue to embrace new technology, the way we work has changed dramatically. More so in recent years, where agile and flexible working are both the norm.

However, for early stage businesses and freelancers, finding a suitable workspace can prove challenging, so we have put together a list of affordable workspaces available in London for under £100 per month.

Humble beginnings

It’s a balmy summers afternoon here at the Newable HQ. After a particularly intense mentoring session, I embark on the task of seeking affordable workspaces in London. Just one of the many ways in which we support the businesses we serve. In doing so I come across a deluge of shared workspaces across London.

For most nascent / emerging businesses, the prospect of paying between three and five hundred pounds a month in rent, for a place to work from, is too tall an order. Then I stumble across something that gets my attention. Haus in London are offering workspaces for rent, starting from £95 per month! I check their website again, just to make sure that my annual appointment with Specsavers is not overdue, and no my eyes are not deceiving me.

Armed with this revelation, I start thinking that surely this cannot be a one off, there must be a few more locations like this. My research intensifies with the newly acquired mission to share this information with not one but all, of our new and existing client base and our readers, of course.

1. Haus

Other than the occasional but productive luncheon meetings with prospective clients and business partners, it would not ordinarily occur to me that a restaurant could be the solution to finding a suitable workspace but that’s exactly what Haus do. Haus specialise in finding restaurants that are typically closed during the day, and converting them into daytime workspaces.

Workspaces that are not only trendy places to be, bustling with likeminded professionals, but which also offer freshly made coffee and tasty snacks for those moments when fuel for the brain is required or perhaps a pick me up from burning the candle at both ends.

An unusual but interesting find in our list, and one well worth checking out. For further information visit: https://www.haus.me.uk/.

2. Wimble Tech

Situated a stones’ throw away from Wimbledon Train Station, the Wimble Tech Campus breathes new life into what was once an under- utilised Library.

For those entrepreneurs working further afield all is not lost, Wimble Tech have three different brands, The Workery (situated in other libraries in London) and Rivertech (a non – library space in Rickmansworth), are alternative solutions.
