We have asked Kate Griffiths a few questions about her role in the team and how she hopes to help clients by providing funding solutions.

Tell us a bit about yourself and your role at Newable.

I head up the direct mortgage and protection team. It is my job to grow the regulated mortgage business of Newable and offer a direct service for existing and new clients from across the company and externally.

What type of funding solutions do you offer?

We offer property finance to anyone who needs it for personal use. From first time buyers to someone wanting to build their own home. We offer a personalised direct service to our clients so they can reach us when it suits them. We have access to the whole of market, so that means thousands of mortgage products to suit each client’s individual needs

What advice would you give to people looking for personal funding in property?

Always go to a broker first rather than your bank. Unfortunately, loyalty to your bank no longer means you are guaranteed to get the finance you need.

You need to speak a broker with access to the whole market, they can offer up many more possibilities.

Secondly, look after your credit, this will make life much easier for you, however don’t shy away from looking at property finance if you have any credit issues, as there are plenty of lenders out there that will help you!

To grow as a team, I want to have as many customer driven advisers as possible to provide excellent service and get Newable on the map as the place to go for your property finance.
