It's that time of year again, when most of us have just started to recover from the Christmas rush, settle into 2018, and forget about all those well intended New Years' resolutions.
For fashion businesses, there is no better time. Fashion corporations, Couture Houses, manufacturers and independent designers get the chance to make those oh so vital finishing touches to their latest look books, and embark upon a month of showcasing this years’ fashion must haves.
As February is set to be a key milestone in the calendar of thousands of fashion businesses across the globe, we have put together a list of the top five events taking place in the UK.
The Big Five…
Jewellery and Watch 2018
Kicking off festivities, Jewellery and Watch 2018 is set to showcase an exquisite array of the latest contemporary and fine jewellery designs. Taking place at Birmingham NEC, from the 4th to 8th of February, Jewellery and Watch 2018 promises to be a mind-blowing event, where you can get a feel for what’s hot and what’s not, in this years’ fashion accessories market.
London Edge
Second on our list of this years’ fashion events is London Edge. Whilst London Edge is promoted as being more of an authentic fashion lifestyle event, there can be no doubt that this will be another great opportunity to get a glimpse of some of the latest designs, soon to reach our mobiles and high streets.
Graced with the presence of up and coming Fashion Influencers such as Kitty Cowell, Empty Alien and Aimee is Weirdd, this is definitely one to watch.
London Edge takes place at The Business Design Centre in Islington, London on 11th of February.
Pure London
Renowned as being the crème de la crème in international fashion events Pure London is back!
With over 700 hundred men and womenswear brands showcasing their latest AW18 designs, this years’ event promises to be a buyers paradise and ‘the’ go to event for all would be fashionistas.
Definitely one to put in your calendar, Pure London takes place from 11th – 13th February 2018 at London Olympia.
London Fashion Week and London Fashion Week Festival
Considered one of the top four global fashion destinations, we could not leave out London Fashion Week.
London Fashion Week plays host to a variety of events that take place at various locations across the capital. Featuring designs from premier fashion brands like Burberry, Jasper Conran and Lulu Guinness to name a few, its’ also a platform for emerging talent.
Main events take place from the 16th – 20th February culminating with a grand finale of spin off events taking place during London Fashion Week Festival, from 22nd – 23rd of February 2018.
Moda 2018
Another giant in this years’ fashion events is Moda 2018. Taking place at Birmingham NEC the 2018 Moda series will showcase the very latest in accessories, footwear, mens’ and womenswear from the 18th – 20th February.
Of course this is just the beginning, during 2018 there will be a number of fantastic fashion events taking place across the globe where both established and emerging brands will have the change to come together to showcase the latest attire for work and play.
