South East
The South East International Business Growth Project (SEIBG) is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and delivered by Newable with the Department for International Trade (DIT) South East Region. The SEIBG Project aims to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs within West Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire areas in international markets and will achieve this goal by providing these SMEs with the expertise and support needed to break into the global market place.
The SEIBG targets the following priority sectors ICT & Digital, Advanced Engineering & Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Marine, Defence, Renewable Energy, Professional & Business Services, Creative, Energy, Environmental Technology, Goods and Services.
As a part of the SEIBG Project, the support Programme offers SMEs within West Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and Oxfordshire the possibility to receive bespoke advice and support from an International Trade Adviser (ITA), who can act as an independent mentor for their businesses and help them overcome the barriers that may prevent them from exporting or growing internationally.

By 2019, Global Growth will have supported 500 SMEs and created 108 jobs.
